Suppress ice-maker not-running alerts during scheduled shutdowns

If you intentionally stop an ice maker on a schedule, you can suppress its IM not running alert while that schedule has the ice maker stopped.

Turn on the schedule option

  1. Open Scheduler and edit the relevant schedule.
  2. Under Target ice makers, confirm the selected ice makers.
  3. Select Disable IM not running alert.
  4. Review the assigned machines and stop/start times.
  5. Select Update schedule. For a new schedule, select Create schedule.

The option is off by default. Enable it on each schedule where you want this behavior.

What does the option affect?

It suppresses the IM not running alert while an automatic scheduled stop is in effect. It does not suppress the alert for a manual shutdown, and it is not a switch for all machine alerts.

How is this different from Quiet Hours?

This option applies to one alert condition caused by a scheduled shutdown. Quiet Hours controls notification delivery during your chosen hours. Choose the setting that matches what you want to change.

If you still receive an alert

Check that the option is enabled on the schedule assigned to the machine, that the correct ice maker is selected, and that the shutdown occurred automatically. Check schedule times against the machine’s time zone.
