Cash Out

Cash Out is the process of zeroing out the Cash Sales value.

There are 2 ways to do this, the preferred way of cashing out is via the MDBPro. 

Press the Reset Button on the MDBPro, move the arrow to Yes using the arrow keys and press Enter. This zeroes out the totals on the MDBPro and writes the previous information to the monitoring system.

The information is logged in the system with details of the totals reported by the MDBPro and the Cash Sales total is zeroed out.

NOTE: As communications between the MDBPro and the system could sometimes fail it is always advisable to make a note of the numbers on the MDBPro before you reset as these cannot be recovered once reset.

This can be also done on the site via the Cash Out button. You will have the option to enter a specific time when you completed the cash out or can choose the current time already entered.

Clicking the Confirm button will zero out the Cash Sales total, enter a record of the Cash Out in the log with details on the amount that was in the Cash Sales total at that time and the users name.

The counts on the MDBPro are not affected if you use the website Cash Out.
