Network Errors logging and alerting

Network errors will occur on the system occasionally, this is unfortunately a fact of life on any kind of network. These may be due to weather events or maintenance of towers of routing equipment.

The system will record these network issues but since it is programmed to correct itself, it will attempt to reconnect by rebooting itself.

An icon will be displayed for the machine on the dashboard indicating that a problem exists but a notification is sent only if the problem persists for longer then 10 minutes.

As it usually does, as soon as the connectivity issue resolves itself the icon will revert back to OK.

Depending on your alert configuration you may choose to receive a notification of the resolution.

If the Network error persists for a few hours please contact us to see if additional steps are required.

If you are at the machine already try rebooting the modem and watch the lights. You should have 3-4 signal lights, a solid 4G light. If not check your antennas and make sure the outdoor antenna is connected to MAIN port, the antenna is upright on the highest point on the roof and that the wire is not frayed or cut.
