Quiet Hours
Quiet Hours lets you reduce interruptions during a time window you choose. It is a preference for your account.
Set quiet hours
- Open Settings > My Profile and find User Notifications.
- Enable user notifications and your chosen delivery methods.
- Turn on Quiet Hours and set the start and end times.
- Use Notify During Quiet Hours only for alerts you want to override the ordinary quiet-hours behavior.
What happens during quiet hours?
- Pushover: Ordinary alert messages can be stored silently in the app.
- Email: Ordinary alert emails are suppressed.
- Selected overrides: Triggered alerts request higher-priority delivery. Sound depends on device permissions and Pushover settings; an override is not a guarantee that every device will sound. Recovery messages can remain silent.
Choose the right control
- Machine notification selection controls which machines send alerts to your account.
- Maintenance Mode is for work at a machine and affects remote controls as well as alert handling.
- Scheduled-stop suppression applies only to the ice-maker-not-running alert during an automatic scheduled stop when that option is enabled.
Quiet Hours does not stop the machine or erase its events. Review the Dashboard and Machine Logs for its status. See User Notifications for delivery setup.
