Quiet Hours

MyVends' quiet hours settings allows you to set times that you'd want notifications silenced. This article will explain the quiet hours settings and how to set custom quiet hours.

Finding the Quiet Hours Settings

The quiet hours settings are in your MyVends' profile menu. To get to this menu, from the MyVends dashboard, click/tap the profile icon found in the top right corner. Click/tap the "Profile" option from the drop-down menu that appears.

In the profile menu, scroll down to find the "User Notifications" settings. Before continuing, ensure that the following settings are on (the switch is NOT greyed-out):

  • Enable User Notifications
  • Notify via email (if you are using email notifications)
  • Notify via Pushover (if you are using Pushover notifications)
    • If you haven't set up a Pushover account, see our Pushover article.

Quiet Hours Settings

By default, the Quiet Hours setting is turned off. To turn this setting on, click/tap the toggle switch across from it. Doing so will reveal a time frame and a new column labeled "Notify During Quiet Hours".

User Notifications

Use the time frame to determine what time you would want notifications to be silenced. For example, in the picture above, from 8:00pm to 5:00am, notifications will be silenced.

You can use the new "Notify During Quiet Hours" column to toggle which notifications will be pushed through your quiet hours. For example, in the picture above, the user will receive a notification during quiet hours when there is a bag failure or if the bag hopper is stuck.

Note: The notifications that have "Notify During Quiet Hours" on will have a loud sound. This is to alert you if you are asleep.
