Icemaker State Timer

With the BinLogic controlling your icemaker we can monitor the amount of time the Make/Freeze cycle takes as well as the Harvest duration.

The Make cycle is fixed at 7 minutes and the timer is useful to ascertain how far into the cycle it is presently.

The Harvest cycle however is a variable timing dependent on the PHC switch. It will run longer up to 2-3 minutes in the winter and shorter in the summer, typically under 1 minute.

If this timing is out of these norms it a good indicator that something is wrong with the icemaker.

There could be numerous parameters and devices affecting the timing so if it of concern to you please ask your HVAC technician to inspect the icemaker, a few of the things to look at could be:

• Water flow
• Hot gas valves
• Freon level
• PHC settings
