Too cold to make ice

The too cold to make ice icon displayed as a status on your machine is informational only.

When the temperature reported by the weather service drops below the temperature set on the machine settings page this icon will be displayed.

The setting does not control your machine or ice maker. It is for your attention only.

Ideally you do want ice maker not running also displayed to confirm that your ice maker ambient thermostat has turned off your icemaker.
