Snapshots of bin camera
Saved bin snapshots let you review images from a camera integrated with MyVends. A third-party camera using the modem's internet service is not automatically supported for snapshots.
Enable snapshots
- Open Settings > Machines and edit the machine.
- Enable Store Bin Camera Images and save.
The option requires a compatible bin camera configured in MyVends. Contact support@datawrx.com if it is unavailable.
Find and interpret images
Open Snapshots from the menu. Review the latest saved image and its timestamp for each machine. Select the machine name for earlier images and the activity recorded between snapshots. Use the available Live View or machine-status links for further investigation.
When qualifying harvest or vend activity has occurred, retrieval is approximately hourly. Without that activity, the fallback interval is approximately six hours. Connectivity, configuration, and successful camera retrieval affect availability; an image may be older than either interval.
Data usage
Snapshots use cellular data. They are different from continuous video streaming, and neither usage nor cost is guaranteed to stay within every plan's allowance. Review Data Usage and your current service agreement when assessing consumption.
