PLC Disconnected

Applies to: Teltonika RUTX11.

PLC Disconnected means the Teltonika modem is communicating but cannot obtain the expected PLC connection. PLC-derived information and commands can be unavailable until the connection is restored. Independently connected equipment may still report data.

Check the Ethernet connection

1. Check the cable between the PLC's Ethernet interface and the Teltonika LAN port designated for the machine.
2. Confirm both plugs are seated. Check for damaged connectors or cable.
3. Look for link/activity indications on the modem and PLC Ethernet module. For the RUTX11, use the Ethernet-port indicators; for the PLC module, use its own link/activity labels.
4. If support asks you to bypass an intermediate network switch, connect the PLC to the designated modem LAN port and recheck.

The RUTX11 has LAN1, LAN2, LAN3, and WAN. Use the LAN port assigned in your MyVends setup. Do not substitute WAN unless support has configured it for the required LAN connection.

Check PLC power

Confirm the PLC's power indicator is on. Loss of PLC power can interrupt communication even while the modem remains online. Have a qualified person investigate power-supply, fuse, breaker, or wiring problems.

Ethernet module checks

For a DL06 installation with an ECOM module, follow the supported MyVends module-slot configuration. If support recommends reseating the module, isolate PLC power first and follow the module's installation procedure. Do not remove or reseat the PLC itself as a routine network check.

Restart and request help

If a modem restart is needed, follow the Teltonika reboot guide. Do not perform a factory reset or change module switches as a general troubleshooting step.
