PLC Modbus Error

The modem communicates with the PLC via a serial protocol called Modbus.

The communications are a 2 way process with validations to confirm that the information being exchanged is valid and as intended.

If there is a failure to communicate the devices will report it as a Modbus communications fault which in turn is reported to you.

Try power cycling the PLC, turn power off, count to 10 and power back on.

While it is a PLC Modbus Error state there is no data being recorded, nor are remote commands possible.

If power cycling does not help ubmit a ticket for us to look into the error and try to resolve it remotely.
