Scheduled Reset

The button for a PLC Reset (same as Reset OOS) can be executed immediately on demand or scheduled to attempt a reset at a later time. Both options are presented when the button is selected.

The owner must read and accept the MyVends disclaimer before any user can use this functionality. This can be done by clicking the link to the Disclaimer OR accepting the disclaimer on the Settings - Machine from the menu. This is a one time action. To disable the functionality for all users, uncheck the Disclaimer from the Menu - Settings - Machine Profile.

To Schedule a Reset click on the green Schedule Reset button, you will be presented with the option to delay the reset, default is 10 minutes.

Enter the amount of  time you would like to delay the Reset and Submit to schedule.

Once a Reset has been scheduled all users will see this prompt if they attempt to execute a Reset until the Scheduled Reset has completed.

All the activity is logged. In this example 

  • Reset was scheduled to occur in 10 minutes.
  • An Alert was broadcast to all users that a scheduled reset will occur in 5 minutes
  • The Reset was executed but since the machine was not Out of Service the Reset was aborted
