Changing Prices on MyVends

Changing your ice machine's prices is done by updating them on:

1. MyVends
2. The MDBPro (or the machine's MDB controller).

MyVends

Note: Changing the prices on MyVends will not change the prices anywhere else; this will only affect the sales MyVends records. To actually change the amount the ice machine charges, see the MDBPro.

Log into MyVends and follow these steps to change the machine's prices:

1. From the MyVends dashboard, click on the settings tab on the left side of the screen or click here. If you are using a phone, use the three lines in the top-left corner to show the navigation menu.
2. Click the pencil icon for the intended machine, which will go that machine's settings page.
3. Scroll down to find the "Product Prices" section and update the prices.
4. When the desired prices are set, click the green "Save" button below the "Product Prices" section.
5. Press the "Back" button at the top-right of the page to return to the settings menu.

If you are updating more than one machine's prices, repeat steps 2-5 until all machines are updated.

The MDBPro

If you are using another MDB Controller, please refer to its manual or user guide.

The MDBPro's prices must be changed on the device itself and can be done with the following steps. To learn more about the MDBPro, click here or click on the pictures below for the MDBPro manual.

Setting Prices

1. Press the yellow "Enter" button; this will bring up the main menu with "Vend prices" displayed

   Press "Enter" which will display "Vend Price 1"; this is the price for bag ( or big bag for double-bagger machines).

   Press "Enter" to display and edit the value:

   1. Use the left and right arrows to lower and raise the price respectively.
   2. Once you've reached the desired price, press "Enter" to confirm.
2. To change the bulk ( or small bag for double-baggers) price, use the right arrow button to scroll to "Vend Price 2".
3. Repeat Step 3 for Vend Price 2.
4. (Optional) If you have a third vend price:
   1. Use the right arrow to select "Vend Price 3"
   2. Repeat step 3

Final Steps

1. Once all the prices are set, use the right arrow to scroll to "Back" and press the "Enter" button. The prices won't be saved if you skip this step.
2. Test the machine to verify the prices were set correctly.
3. If you have a credit card reader, be sure to call the credit card company to change the preauthorization charge to a price equal to or higher than the vend price.
   1. Example: If the machine's new vend price is $2.50, the preauthorization charge should be $2.50 or greater.
